Privacy Policy

Exhibited.ai is a closed-beta AI photo critique platform. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the service, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We have tried to write it in plain language.

AI processing disclosure. When you submit a photograph for critique, your image is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate the written critique, and (for podcast episodes) to ElevenLabs for audio synthesis. By using Exhibited.ai you agree to those services processing your images on our behalf. Your photos are never used to train AI models.

1. What we collect

When you create an account and use Exhibited.ai, we collect:

  • Account information — your email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile name and avatar.
  • Photographs you upload — stored securely in cloud storage for as long as you keep your account, or until you delete a session.
  • EXIF metadata — camera, lens, and exposure data extracted from your photos client-side and used to give the AI panel technical context.
  • Critique and session data — the written remarks, scores, and podcast audio generated from your sessions.
  • Usage logs — timestamps of requests, error logs, and session counts used to enforce fair-use limits and diagnose issues. We do not use third-party analytics.

We do not collect payment information, track you across other websites, or sell your data to anyone.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide the critique service — your photo and context are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate each judge’s remarks and scores.
  • To generate podcast audio — critique text is sent to ElevenLabs to synthesise voice audio for the episode.
  • To operate your account — authentication, session management, usage-limit enforcement.
  • To communicate with you — we may send you transactional emails (invite confirmations, sign-in links). We do not send marketing emails.

3. Third-party services

We rely on the following sub-processors to deliver the service:

  • Anthropic— AI analysis and critique generation. Photos and session context are transmitted to the Claude API. Anthropic’s data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy.
  • ElevenLabs — text-to-speech synthesis for podcast episodes. Critique text is transmitted to generate audio. Governed by their Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage. All data at rest is encrypted and stored in EU data centres. Governed by their Privacy Policy.

We do not share your data with any other third parties except as required by law.

4. Your photographs

You retain full ownership and copyright over every photograph you upload. Exhibited.ai claims no licence to your images beyond what is strictly necessary to provide the service — displaying them to you in the app, transmitting them to AI services for analysis on your behalf, and storing them in your personal library.

Your photographs are never used to train AI models, shared publicly, or made accessible to other users of the platform.

5. Data retention

Your photos, critiques, and account data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual sessions (and their associated photos) at any time from your library. Deleting a session permanently removes the image from our storage.

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, email us at hello@exhibited.ai. We will complete the deletion within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@exhibited.ai.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email before the new policy takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
